EMMA A. FLETCHER

Mrs. Emma A. Fletcher of Hemlock, widow of Herbert M. Fletcher, died in Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester,Tuesday night, Nov. 8, 1949, following a long period of ill health.

Mrs. Fletcher was born in Angelica, Allegany county, Dec. 28, 1859, one of two daughters of William and Susan Barber Parker. She was married to Mr. Fletcher in Angelica, he couple moving later to Rochester. There two children were born, Herbert A. and William I., both of whom survive. After residing in Rochester for 18 years the family moved to South Lima, Mr. Fletcher's native village, and in 1910 or 1911 to Hemlock. Mr. Fletcher died in 1924.

Shortly after moving to Hemlock Mrs. Fletcher sliipped in the yard and broke a hip, and as a consequence had been an invalid ever since. For the last 10 years she had been confined to the house.

Burial will be in Mt. Hope cemetery, Rochester,, following services at Reed Funeral Home, Livonia, tomorrow (Friday)at 2 o'clock. Friends may call at the funeral home this (Thursday) afternoon and evening.

There are no immediate survivors other than the two sons.
